Born and raised in Bunbury, Western Australia, I always
enjoyed anything arty, crafty, designer or mechanical.
I love practical design, beautiful architecture, ingenious
engineering and all things "smart".
A student of Bunbury Central Primary and later Bunbury
Senior High School, I moved to Perth to study at University.
I graduated from W.A.I.T. (now Curtin University) with
a Bachelor of Arts Graphic Design and began a small graphics
business which I operated firstly from premises, and then
from home (which was then a farm south east of Manjimup),
after family commitments and commuting became too much.
A few years have passed since then, and I now have 3 beautiful
grown-up "children" and have relocated to Perth.
Always a keen motorsport fan, I began competing in or
around 1999, beginning with Motorkhanas and then sprints
and hillclimbs, competing in the Enjo Speed Event Series
for a number of seasons. I broke several womens records
and still hold (as far as I'm aware) the Womens Record
for Barbagallos Raceway Long Circuit (69.92) and a few
other Womens records including Wellington Dam Hillclimb
and the previous Collie Sprint Circuit (now a new track).
Ive done the Quit Motorplex quarter mile a couple of times
in the S15, pulling off a 13.8 on street tyres and firm
track suspension. I spent about 12months in 2005 restoring
my original 1978 Mini Clubman Van (the same original Mini
Van I owned when I was 18), and then decided to get my
motorbike licence. I had a GPX250 for 12 months, then
a GSXR600 for a couple of years, but recently sold the
GSXR and took a trip to Canada.
I don't consider myself a health fanatic, but I do enjoy
regular walking, and currently try to do Jacobs Ladder
a few times a week.
I now love my work more than ever, and look forward to
hearing from you, should you require anything printed
or designed, be it Business Cards, brochures, press ads
or a website.
And... am I obsessed with Redback spiders? No, I hate
spiders... but I love graphics, and the Redback spider
(to me) is an attractive graphic image.
